Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult, moderately technical

Location: Within Moran State Park, Orcas Island

Description: Fantastic wide single-track in beautiful old growth forestland. Views from Mount Constitution is awesome. Softpack trails with a few technical roots or maneuvering here and there, but the majority of trails are wide and fast. One-half of the trails are closed in Summer, in an example of insightful management practices. One would think Jim Farmer would remember such successes.

Distance: 15-20 miles of trails, short distance options available.

Elevation: Nearly flat around Mountain Lake, major climbing to Mt. Constitution.
